My annual review of what I’ve most enjoyed listening to during the last 12 months, and my albums of the year.
I didn’t think that I’d acquired many new albums in 2011, but I’ve just checked and my collection grew by 21 items (singles, EPs and albums), which was more than last year.
Here are my highlights, and unlike last year I’m starting with my favourite and working backwards.
Anthrax—Indians
Now, this category is a challenge to me. A song that you can dance to. Where do I place the emphasis?
This was the first song that came to mind—after whatever piece of Scottish, accordion music that I danced the Dashing White Sergeant to in a Scottish Country Dancing competition in Kelso when I was in primary 3—because
I think that just about covers all four emphases above.
