1. Regardless of the direction you enter Crail on the A917 (from St Andrews or Anstruther) you will reach a roundabout outside The Golf Hotel, Crail.
2. Take Marketgate North towards the golf course and airfield (Crail Tollbooth and Town Hall will be on your right).
From the St Andrews road, turn left at the roundabout.
From the Anstruther road, go straight on at the roundabout.
3. After the church (on your left) the road dips down, past a field (on your right).
4. Drive past Roome Bay Avenue (on your right at the top of the dip) and onto Balcomie Road.
5. Take the next left into Balcomie Green.
6. Drive straight over the first roundabout, my house is immediately on the right (just after the electricity distribution box) with a red, tiled roof.
7. Park wherever you can (but not immediately across the road from the house—that is private parking). There are usually free parking bays in front of my house.
