My Sunday weekly review

Sundays are my weekly review day – a small ritual that helps me start the new week with clarity rather than chaos. It is simple, gentle and it takes me about 20 to 30 minutes, but it makes a huge difference to how I feel.

One small system that kept me steady this week

This week has not gone to plan. I’ve been unwell, work has been busy, and life has thrown a few unexpected challenges my way. A younger version of me would have tried to push through, hold everything in my head, and hope for the best. That approach never worked for me.

One thing that kept me steady was something very simple: my system kept working, even when I couldn’t.

Why capturing everything changed my life

For years I carried far too much in my head – ideas, worries, tasks, conversations, reminders, emotions. It was exhausting. I felt like I was always running behind, even when I worked hard.

When I discovered the system I use now, one of the first exercises was to ‘download’ my head into my tasks app. To my astonishment, I had 97 things that I was trying to remember. When I got them into my tasks list, I felt lighter, I felt relieved.

Capturing everything in one trusted place gave me space to breathe again. It turned noise into clarity. It helped me see what mattered, let go of what did not, and take one small step at a time.

Capturing is not about being more productive. It is about creating enough mental space to live with intention.

It is a simple habit, but it changed my life. I still do it every day.

If this resonates with you, you are not alone.

I will share more reflections over the next few days.

A new chapter: opening my productivity and agile coaching programme

Life has been heavy recently, but it has also nudged me to choose a new direction. For a long time I have wanted to help people who feel overwhelmed and stretched in too many directions, but I never quite felt ready to share that publicly.

Yesterday I posted a small teaser on social media. Today I want to share the full story.

Over the years I have learned how to rebuild clarity, calm and a better way of working. These systems have helped me through some of the most challenging times of my life in the past twenty years, including raising children, working multiple jobs, divorce and redundancy. They brought me focus and steadiness when everything else was uncertain.

Now I am opening up 1:1 Productivity and Agile Coaching for people who want that same clarity and calm.
