Today marks the 27th anniversary of the death of my father, Keith John Saunders.
The photograph above is of my father perched on a water drilling machine in India in the mid-60s, taken from the photographs that I scanned a few years ago of my mother and father’s time in Jalna and beyond.
Rest in peace, Dad. I love you.

Just possible I took it!
Tried contact through Jalnabai site
I worked with your Mum and Dad between 1963-67. Keith came in as one of our VSO’s along with Dave Redfern. I ran explosives side of the project.
I can clarify some India matters if so desired but at 85, and I think the last Jalna man standing, best not to wait too long.
