Amplifier announces live web concert

One of my favourite bands, Amplifier, has just announced they will be playing a live web concert in November or December 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album which they will be playing in its entirety.

I first saw Amplifier supporting Auf der Maur in Glasgow in 2004. We were a little late to the venue, but when I walked in and was presented with Sel Balamir and the boys’ gloriously twisted fusion of rock, metal and prog I was blown away and became an immediate fan.

The next morning, I ordered their debut album and played it on repeat for a week.

This is still one of my all-time favourite albums.

You can send an RSVP on the Rockosmos website to show your interest for the online gig.
