This year, I need to walk more, I need to cycle more, I need to move more and leave the car at home, especially for short journeys.
At lunchtime today, I took a walk to the high street to buy some stamps at the mobile post office; it only comes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays for a couple of hours.
It was good to get out of the house, breathe in some fresh air and admire how muddy my usual walking loop had become after so much rain. The local fields are drenched and flooded in places.
Here is to more walking in 2024.
