Day 19: A song from your favourite album #30dsc

30 day challenge day 19: A song from your favourite album

Queen—The March of the Black Queen (Live at The Hammersmith 1975)

How do you choose a favourite album? I guess that’s an exercise that’s probably a little easier once you’ve been invited to be a guest of BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs. But for us mortals…

Queen II is definitely in my top 5 favourite albums, and while I was pondering writing this post while feeding Isaac this evening it’s the one album that I kept coming back to in my mind.

The first four Queen albums (Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack and A Night At The Opera) are just fabulous. I’m really looking forward to hearing the recently remastered versions.

My only regret in life really is that I never had the opportunity to see Freddie Mercury performing live. Well, that and not having the courage to ask Sophie out in 1997. But mostly the Freddie thing.
