In my second year at St Andrews (1990-1991) our college got its first PC classroom; actually it was a Mac classroom.
This was in the days before the World Wide Web, and none of us had email addresses, but the computers were networked, which for us meant two things:
For years I couldn’t remember the name of the game. Until I chanced upon an article in a PC magazine just now.
The game was Netrek, and it’s still available. Fantastic!
Last night Jane and I were at her parents’ wedding anniversary party. I was chatting with Jane’s cousin Andrew.
