It turns out that Microsoft have been listening to the voices of impoverished students across the globe and are currently offering Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate Edition for only £38.95 (the RRP is £599.99) as part of their The Ultimate Steal promotion.
What you get
Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate Edition includes:
- Word 2007
- Excel 2007
- PowerPoint 2007
- Outlook 2007
- Groove 2007
- Publisher 2007
- OneNote 2007
- InfoPath 2007
- Access 2007
Are you eligible?
To be eligible for this deal you must:
- Hold a valid email address at a U.K. educational institution ending in .ac.uk (for example, [email protected])
- Be actively enrolled with at least 0.5 course load
Sadly that doesn’t include me. Which is a shame, as I’d love a full copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate. But if you’re a student (or are starting university/college this year) then head over to The Ultimate Steal website and pick yourself up a copy.
You do have time to settle in to university or college first though, the promotion ends at 23:59 GMT on 30 April 2008.
Hmmm…
Would you like me to get you a copy Revd Saunders? I get free software cos I specials. All legit too! I’m Dyspraxic and get funding thru SAAS for stuff like that… :oD
I hope you and Jane are good? Are you going to Mark’s thingy?
Hello lovely Cabbage. Jane and I are going to Fr Mark’s ordination to the order of bishops. Will see you there. 🙂

we got recommended http://www.software4students.co.uk by our school, you are not limited to a .ac.uk e-mail (I don’t have one), as far as I can tell you just need to know someone in education and they seem to have a lot more products, the site is recommended by Microsoft, I suppose it’s another option.
