The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Dawn over Cellardyke

This was the (rather shaky) scene from our bedroom window at 03:54 this morning, using our new Fujifilm camera in night mode. I woke up needing to use our bathroom facilities and when I saw the sky thought “I’ve got to try to photograph that”.

So I did. And now I’ve shared that (and possibly also a little too much about my nocturnal visitations) with you.

  1. Honestly! Why the Narnia reference?!

Because it was dawn, and I was on my way to the toilet. By foot.

I was on a voyage. Treading, if you like. At dawn.

It was, in a sense, the voyage, yeah?, of the dawn treader!
