The moon

Last night, I asked Jane what she was doing today. She said, “I’m going to the moon.”
I said, “The MOON?!”
She said, “NO! Dunoon!”

I can’t hide the fact that I was a little disappointed. But on the up-side at least she will be back for tea.

  1. Long ago, when he was with The Humblebums, Billy Connolly did a pastiche of Jonathan King’s “Everyone’s Gone to the Moon” called “Everyone’s Gone to Dunoon”. Just thought I’d mention that. I’ll get my coat.
