I *do* like Billy Corgan …

I’d just like to clear one thing up: just because I don’t think that Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is the best thing that the Smashing Pumpkins have done …

… doesn’t mean to say that I don’t like the Smashing Pumpkins, or anything else that Billie Corgan has done!

The latest album from Billie Corgan, Thefutureembrace is a fantasticly complex, deep, beautifully melodic and emotional album.

His Zwan album, Mary Star of the Sea, was wonderful.

and the Smashing Pumpkins album Siamese Dream could easily be one of my Desert Island Discs; I’ve been listening to it all week.

It’s just that, personally, I prefer these albums to Melon Collie … that’s all.

I’m glad we got that out of the way. Now we can carry on the blog without further interruption.
