Today has been my day off — most Thursday are — and I’ve spent most of it sitting in front of my PC entering my accounts from 2003 into Microsoft Money 2004. I need to gather up all my financial information in order to submit it to my tax accountants (clergy tax is a complicated business… well, it is for me!).

I can only download the previous six months’ worth of statements from the Royal Bank of Scotland, so I’m having to manually enter 18 months’ worth of transactions. I’m now up to July 2003. So many transactions, so little brain! It’s been driving me mad.
