For the next four days I shall be away at the Scottish Episcopal Church Provincial Conference “Five and Two”, being held this year at Heriot Watt University, approximately 5 miles from home.

The conference is based around the story in Mark 6: 31-44 of the Feeding of the Five Thousand, with “Five and Two” referring to the five loaves and two fish. The structure of the conference follows the order of the story, and also the structure of a Contextual Bible Study.

My Mum is going, so that’ll be nice to spend some time with her too.
