"CSE HTML Validator (also referred to as HTML Validator) is a very important part of an HTML development environment. Before publishing HTML documents, especially documents created manually or with a "dumb" HTML editor, you should check the documents for syntax errors. HTML Validator functions as that checker, helping to make sure that your documents are written in correct syntax so that they are viewed as intended in a variety of HTML browsers.
NOTE: CSE HTML Validator cannot check for a completely syntactically correct document, although it can find many syntactic errors and offer useful advice and assistance in creating your documents.
NOTE: CSE HTML Validator is not a "real validator" in the strict technical definition of "validator". Instead, it is based on a powerful engine that is custom designed for HTML, XHTML, and CSS. Because of this, it is capable of finding many problems that a "real" validator cannot."

What can I say about Dreamweaver that hasn't already been
said? It is the industry-standard for HTML coding, writing good, clean,
bloat-free HTML.
DW offers both WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) and
hand-coding options, site management, FTP, CSS, and if you get stuck you
can access the excellent O'Reilly reference for CSS, HTML and JavaScript.
It took me over 18 months to hand-code almost half a website
in 1st Page 2000. I rewrote this whole site in 4 weeks with Dreamweaver
4! The site, file and assets management greatly increases your coding
speed!
I have tried out the demo of DW MX. It has a great looking
interface, and incorporates the coding elements of UltraDev into Dreamweaver
(e.g. ColdFusion).

This is the package I used to create the drop-down menus on this website. I had been using v.2.8 which I got free with an issue of PC Plus but it wasn't compatible with Netscape 6. I have tested this version with IE 5.5, Opera 6 and Netscape 6.
As the introduction says in the help files: "DHTML Menu Builder not only creates menus, it creates beautiful menus composed of thousands of lines of code compatible with all the major browsers and platforms. But don't worry, you have to know anything about the code that DHTML Menu Builder produces. You can just concentrate on using it to spice up your navigation system. "Do you have several machines on a network, but only one connection to the internet? Wish you could browse the net from the other machines, just like you can from the machine that's connected? Then what you're looking for is called a Proxy Server, and AnalogX has just what you want.
AnalogX Proxy is a small and simple server that allows any other machine on your local network to route it's requests through a central machine. So what does that mean in English?
