Scoring Mah Jong
With such a plethora of Mah Jong rulesets, various types of scoring, varieties of scoring sticks or bones, and different ways of squaring up with other players at the end of a hand or at the end of a game it is sometimes surprising that anyone manages to get to the end of a game and know who has won!
In this section I wish to gave an overview of some of the more popular methods of scoring, and hopefully help some beginners to get their head around this sometimes seemingly complex subject.
