Newsreader

You can access and subscribe to these newsgroups using your default newsgroup reader (which is a special piece of software to access newsgroups) such as MS Outlook Express or Free Agent

You will need access to your ISP's news server (usually 'news.your_isp.com' but see your ISP for details).

Google Groups offer a convenient way of accessing these (and any other) newsgroups using your browser at Google Groups.

You may search the Usenet archives for free; if you wish to post you must sign-up with Google, this is also free.
